About Our District

HTSD is a suburban school district located between Princeton and Trenton. We have an ideal geographical location that affords 管家婆最全免费资料大全ians a one hour drive to both New York City and Philadelphia.

      HTSD is comprised of a diverse group of 12,000 students. There are 23 schools; 3 high schools, 3 middle schools, 17 elementary schools, and 1 special education alternative program for middle/high school students. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in a shared-time vocational education program sponsored by the Mercer County Vocational Schools. Students are taught and cared for by 1,750 certified and non-certified staff members. Our school district budget is approximately 184 million dollars.

      HTSD has educated the hearts and minds of its students for over 100 years. Teachers are closely involved in curriculum improvement and staff development programs, including professional learning communities, designed to advance effective instruction.

Students are not only participating in these activities, but demonstrating their commitment to excellence and good character traits.       The theme for the 2023-2024 school year is "Every Day Counts". The school year is 180 days; every one of those days counts.  Every moment within those days counts towards our students' success and our success as a school community.
